Immaculée Mukazayire is a Rwandan journalist and blogger. She graduated from Mount Kenya University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication (Mass Communication). She was the editor-in-chief of a Christian site www.ibyishimo.com. In February 2016, she began her career as a journalist writing opinion pieces at Izuba Rirashe, one of the leading Rwandan newspapers of that time. in 2017 she was an online reporter for Redeemed Gospel Church Rwanda services, preciselt working on www.abacunguwe.org. In 2017again, she started her own online news website Ubumwe (www.ubumwe.com) focusing on social issues, opinions and investigative articles. She became one of the women pioneers to own media organs in Rwanda. Since 2018, she joined the team of the Center for Development and Enterprises Rwanda as a blogger where she defends the principles of a free society on behalf of CDE Rwanda. At the end of 2018 she started working with The Pax Press, a nongovernmental organization working with more than 180 journalists and 30 media houses to promote peace, democracy and human rights. She is also a member of Women Media Owners for Change, a Network of Women owning media organs in Rwanda, with the vision of raising woman voice through media.
